I have a 2008 4 door Civic LX with 5sp manual. I haven't checked city mileage but just returned from a 1400KM trip. It was almost completely highway all the way. These values are Canadian so not sure if they are much help to you. 6.4L/100KM 41.5mpg ( again Canadian gallon) Hope this helps.

I just read the the gas tank size of the 2008 Honda Civic (including the LX) is 13.2 gallons.
The Honda Accord gets good gas mileage. The 2013 model gets 34mpg highway. Other Hondas, such as the Honda Civic, get better gas mileage but the Accord is a very fuel efficient car.

Honda makes great SUVs with good gas mileage. The Honda Pilot and Honda cr-v are just two great options you have to choose from. There is also the Honda Civic Hybrid and Honda Insight.
