probably like 5 in town and maybe 11 highway remember that a truck is not very aerodynamic and it weighs alot too somethings to help would be to fill your tires to max pressure, drive 55 mph instead of 70 or 80 make sure your air filter is clean and dont carry ANY extra items in your vehicle you dont need if you have an automatic release your foot a little when it starts taching up to make it upshift early if you have a manual dont redline the tach between gears (although with a 454 this might be tempting) maybe buy E3 spark plugs (ive never tried them so idk if they help) and if you have manual lock out hubs dont drive with them locked in 2wd on the highway they create more drag on your engine and reduce economy maybe the biggest thing is maybe go with a smaller carburetor if you jus use the truck for truck stuff and not a racecar you could prolly get away with a 600 cfm carburetor as long as its set a little rich so your engine wont run hot maybe try an electric fan and electric water pump or maybe try a free flowing exhaust but remember its a big block truck and even with the improvements it prolly wont do better than 15 highway
