14g is normal for a male lip piercing, 16g is normal for a female lip piercing.
He doesnt have a lip gauge he just has a piercing
Whenever you go in for a Monroe piercing, the piercer will take a needle, usually either a 18-16 gauge, and pierce your lip with that. It doesn't leave a big hole at all. But, if you want to gauge your Monroe, then you could have the piercer pierce with a bigger gauged needle, or just gauge it out yourself.
14g to 16g is normal for a male lip piercing, 16g to 18g is normal for a female lip piercing.
I'd say so :) #SelfPiercer
Needle. Guns aren't suitable for any piercing
Either 16ga or 14ga
Yes if you still need the needle to pierce yourself it is cool but not someone else because it is you needle now that it went through your lip.
1.2mm / 16g to 1.6mm/ 14g
Were you playing with it? You might have irritated it and opened the wound pretty badly, causing it to bleed heavily, either that, or they used a piercing needle gauge fairly too large for your lip piercing. I've experience piercing people with a piercing needle that's 2 gauges bigger, (For example, a lip piercing is 16g, I've pierce it with a 12gauge once) and it didn't bleed too bad, it bled for about 5-10 minutes. It shouldnt be bleeding heavily at all. Especially not for hours after getting it pierced. Go see a doctor as soon as possible before you lose too much blood
you will lose alot of blood.and lip will become swollen and infected.
A small clamp-like thing is put onto your lip to get the position, sometime this isn't used, then a needle is pushed though. ok, no any normal needle is used. professionals and other people that do piercings use a hollow needle so that the skin won't wrap itself around the jewelry.
It really depends on the person some people get it piereced by larger needled and some by smaller you should of asked yor piercer the size of needle he used most commonly 18G~16G for a regullar piercing.
yes you actually can, if you don't know how to take care of the piercing it will get infected & also if the needle you use is not clean.
Labret can be used to describe any lip piercing but it's most commonly used to reer to center lower lip piercings. Labret post jewelry can be worn in any lip piercing and even ear piercings.
There is no highest or lowest gauge with any piercing. But, yes there are some typical starting sizes according to the type of lip piercing. 18 Gauge and 16 Gauge are the most common for Monroe piercings. If you want something more delicate you can ask for a 20 gauge stud too.
haha it just means that a big needle has gone through you lip lol your lips going to be red its normal
Once any piercing is *seasoned (*over a year old ), so long as the jewellery is appropriate for the piercing in gauge and length or diameter the piercing will not stretch unless you change it to a larger gauge. So will you have this big gaping hole in your lip? Well no, if you stay with the jewellery you are sized to it should stay the same size during the *life of the piercing (* this is for however long you choose to keep the piercing ).
For your upper lip, Left is a monroe piercing. The bottom lip could just be a lip piercing, or labret piercing.
Nose. I Have 2 nose piercings 1 monroe 2 lip 3 tongue and bridge. Nose hurt far more. Fun though, nothing beats the feeling of an 18 gauge needle through your cartlidge
No they don't numb the needle. It doesn't even hurt it just burns a bit. Remember no smoking or drinking till it heals.
Yea,i have a lip piercing and it does that do its natural
Yes, but you would be streching the hole, like people stretch their ears.
Having a piercing on the side of your lip :3
It means that he wanted a lip piercing :)
