You can use synthetic 75W-90 if you are using a gasket between the diff cover and the housing. If you are using RTV sealant with no gasket, use the conventional gear oil 80W-90. It seems the synthetic lube dissolves the RTV sealer.
The front axle uses 80W90.
As long as they are the same gear ratio they interchange also All wheel drive astro vans front diff will work
0w80 synthetic gear oil.
Same as the rear.
Front diff selectable 4WD SAE 80W90 GL-5 gear oil Full time 4WD SAE 75W90 synthetic gear oil Rear diff SAE 75W90 synthetic gear oil
I have a 95 and the gear is 4.11. It is on a little placard on the axle diff. cover. Can be either on the front or rear. Good luck.
it will be the same as the rear diff
depends upon the truck, diffrent ratio's were used
Weld center diff and remove front ring gear. Remove front axles. has been done.
the diff is pandoras gear is stronger and gives u more of a combo PS .Pandora's gear looks cooler . pps champion gear sucks.ppps Pandora's gear is 1 of the best gear u can get besides ZERO GEAR
A lot of work transmission and transfer case need to be hung make sure you get the crossmember. Front axle assembly needs to be hung make sure you get all the brackets, steering gear and suspension. Torsion bars will have to be removed and reinstalled there is a special tool for this. Should be able to use the same springs in the front. One important note: gear ratios front and rear differentials need to be the same or at least only one number off. Example rear diff 4.10 front diff 4.9 The easiest way is to remove your cab and remount on the 4x4 frame.
The front differential is a full synthetic gear lube. If you have to ask where it is then you should probably take it to a reputable dealer or Lube shop. The actual specs for the gear lube are in the owners manual. Whoever wrote this has no clue either. The front diff has a 26mm bung on the right front side of the diff casing.
