Well, that's kind of a 'hit and miss' question if you will. There should be a metal tag attached to the outside of the rear differential cover. Remove it and take it to a Chevy dealer and they could definitely tell you what the gear ratio is.

it depends, but I have seen a lot of 3.73 units, some posi, some not. check the factory code in the glove box, and search on the internet to check, sometimes they still have the tag on the rear end housing. Also you can do a rough check by jacking up the car, turning the wheels and see how many times the tire revolves compared to the pinion and that is your ratio.
