There are many polystyrene glues made, especially for model making. I do like a product on sale in hobby stores called RX 7. Given the choice, I use MEK for my model making, but this is dangerous and not sold to the public.
I would use PL 300 only. Almost anything else would degrade the material.
There are special polystyrene cements, or Methyl Ethyl Ketone.
I would try a silicone based glue for that.
Most epoxies will do that.
Styrofoam is an expanded polystyrene. It has no application as glue.
Silicone is best for that.
pva
Epoxy is probably the only thing that would stick that combination.
Possibly, but I would try a silicon type glue first.
You need polystyrene glue, commonly available in model store or hobby stores.
If it's polystyrene use poly glue if other parts use epoxy or super glue.
I would use one of the silicone glues like Plumbers Goop or 100% Silicone for this.
You don't actually use the orange peel as glue. You use the orange peel, which is acid, to melt polystyrene, which is sticky and a good source for glue.
easy.. and the product is not "glue"... it's actually "SUPER GLUE".. anyway.. just use polystyrene.. but before that .. turn your orange peels into orange oil.. just boil it. then when it's done pour it at your polystyrene .. ( P.s. it will melt) and there u go..
There are hundreds of kinds of 'plastics', each with their own best glues. For instance, what glues ABS, will not glue PVC, what glues polystyrene will not glue Lexan. -You must specify a plastic.
Polystyrene plastic is the main component of millions of plastic. There are a number of polystyrene glues available in model and hobby stores. Almost all are a form of Butanone. I prefer to use MEK for my models. Mek is a form of industrial butanone. Super glues can also be used in polystyrene plastic.
