Luke 2:10-12 (ESV)
"Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who IS Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger."
Yes
In The Bible there is a story of the angel appearing to shepherds in the field to announce the birth of Jesus. The angels brought glad tidings and good news to the shepherds.
a star
The shepherds learned of Jesus' birth through an angel who appeared to them while they were out in the fields watching over their flock during the night. The angel told them the good news of the birth of the Savior and directed them to find the baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger in Bethlehem.
They ran to tell the news to everyone they met that night, and searched for Jesus so they could worship Him.
They could be smiling if it is good news or if they are frowning its bad news.
The angel did not tell the shepherds to follow anything at all. They agreed amongst themselves to go and see the Baby.In Luke 2:15 it states that the shepherds spoke to one another and said "let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has revealed to us".There was a Star that was followed by the wise men from the east who saw it in the sky and understood this phenomenon was a sign of the birth of the King of the Jews and they followedthis Star on their journey.
Tell them do you want to hear the good news or the bad news first. If they say bad: 1.Make up something 2.Tell them the good news If they say good: 1.Tell them the good 2.Tell them there is no bad news _________________________________________________________________ A better anwser: It depends on the news...if its good then go up to them with a huge smile and say guess what! Really excitedly. If it's bad then say I got some bad news and say what the news is depressingly.
This person is likely to give you bad news
According to Luke, the angel said 1. ".....a Saviour and 2. who is Christ the Lord and 3. a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes.
It means what good news do you have or tell me something good or interesting.
Jesus himself delivered the good news about himself. Who better to tell the world about who he was than the person himself.
I will come back somtime
