oem suggests 92 octane or better, mid grade 89 can be used. fuel economy is best with 92 octane or better. The EPA specifies "regular" grade gasoline for the 2005 Lexus RX330. By contrast, the Acura MDX, all years, specifies "premium" grade, according to the EPA. My understanding is that the grade they state is the grade they tested with. And, btw, better mileage will NEVER be achieved by switching to premium. If your car pings with regular, you need to upgrade. If it runs fine with regular and you switch to premium, all you will notice is a lighter wallet...FACT

The Kia Sedona requires 87 or higher octane fuel. In the US, "regular" gas is 87 octane, middle grade is 89, and premium is 91-92. For this car, you only need regular grade gas. You *can* use premium, but it is not at all necessary.
