The ACT can be taken as early as 8th grade, although it is typically recommended for high school students, particularly those in 10th to 12th grades. Some students may take it earlier for practice or to gauge their readiness for college-level work. However, most colleges and universities focus on scores from tests taken during the junior or senior years.
Oh, dude, the PLAN test is typically taken by 10th graders. It's like a practice ACT, so if you're in 10th grade and want to prep for the real deal, that's when you'd usually take it. But hey, if you're feeling ambitious in 9th grade or just really want to get ahead, go for it!
