Hi. I've just got one. The guy I bought it from, a mate who has had it for years, put EP90 gear oil in. I have a manual but it's pretty basic. I've just got mine back to the yard and am in the process of stripping it down for a good service and coat of paint. Shared info always helps so happy to talk rather than both of us make the same mistakes. 07967 489153. Cheers. Rupert
if manual transmission , it will need 90-grade gear oil

Usually the recommended grade of oil is stamped on the oil fill cap, but it is similar to automobile oil. I use a 5w30 oil in my Suzuki.
mineral oil 10-40 (typical user) but if you're on the track, then use synthetic
Most transmission oils are about 10-20 weight, approximately, but be aware that transmission oil is not rated that way.
