I've had my 2000 Mercedes CLK 320 for 7 years and have always used mid-grade gas with no problems. Car runs great.
I use a synthetic 5w-40 for my 1994 C280. Also I only use premium grade gas.
I own a 2006 Mercedes Benz E-350. Is it okay to use Mid Grade Gas as opposed to Premium or is it okay to mix the two?
No. Premium grade gasoline is required by Mercedes-Benz. To use a lower grade could cause engine damage.Source: FuelEconomy.gov:1998 Mercedes-BenzE320 Sedan -- See the related link.
unleaded
No it's a low grade goes against gas companys like Sunoco and Getty. If you have a high end car like Mercedes do not get gas from them
Yes. You may not get the same performance (horsepower) as you would with premium gas, but modern cars can run fine on any grade of unleaded gas.
Only high octane gas can be used around 92

Used Premium Gas
As noted on the gas gauge and all manuals....it is designed to take premium. That isn't to say it wouldn't run on a lesser grade...but probably not very well.
It should state what kind of gas the ML takes on the inside of the fuel filler door (or whatever you call it). And check your owner's manual. Most Mercedes only take premium grade gas, octane of at least 91. Unless you have a "CDI" or diesel SUV. Then of course it requires diesel fuel.
