Usually pupils start in 'reception' class at or around the first September after their 4th birthday
in Primary school SATS (like 5a,5b,5c example)
in secondary: Sats until year 10 when you are 14 then GCSE's like c,b,a,a*
In England, we don't have grades, we have 'years'. You will start off in playgroup or nursery from the age of around two (although this is not compulsory I think), then at the age of four you will go into 'Reception'-there may be other names for it but that is what I've always called it- which is your first year of primary school. Every September you move up a year- Year One, Two, Three, Four, Five and finally Year Six, at which point, aged eleven, the child will move into secondary school, and will go up through Year Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten and Eleven, at which point the child will be aged 16. Fter taking GCSE exams, the child has the option to either drop out of school or continue on to Sixth Form, where they will take Year Twelve and Thirteen and take A-Levels at age 18. After this, or after dropping out age 16, the child can go to university/college, or go into employment. Hope that's not too confusing :)

Depends on the country. Here in the United State, Middle Schools are considered from sixth grade to eight grade, but some private or public schools, have a project that is kind of a mix, from fifth to ninth grade.
The grades will stay the same. Grades don't depend on clothes.
No. They are 9–12 grades.
