Christopher Columbus Landed on the island of San Salvador.
The group of islands that stretch from Florida to Venezuela is known as the Bahamas. When Christopher Columbus arrived in 1492, he initially believed he had reached the outskirts of India, which is why he referred to the native people he encountered as "Indians." These islands were among the first places he explored during his voyages to the New World.

Charles Darwin explored the Galapagos Islands in 1831 during his scientific voyage on the HMS Beagle. His observations of the unique flora and fauna on these islands later influenced his theory of evolution by natural selection.
Columbus came to America with a group of three ships. The names of the ships were the Nina, The Pinta, and the Santa Maria.
Hawaai and Taiwan
The Caribbean islands derived their name from the Carib people, an indigenous group that inhabited parts of the region at the time of European exploration in the late 15th century. Christopher Columbus and other explorers referred to the islands collectively as "Caribbean" after encountering the Caribs during their voyages. The term has since come to represent the entire group of islands in the Caribbean Sea.
