Yes!
It depends on the vehicle but most of the time you can jumper the low pressure switch....
NO ! and Why?
No, unless the a/c has been converted to r134a
No.
You will have a very efficient and ECO friendly AC unit, but certain steps needs to be taken before loading R134A to central AC.Clean and vaccum and change condensor, evaporator, compressor retrofit to POE oil and all piping rather new including drier, txv or oriffice.R134A is a low pressure refrigerant,so high and low sides will have lower read, thus reducing stress to a compressor results less energy used for the same comfort of the evaporator coil around 40F...I have one unit myself and I would never change back to high energy bill with R22 inside..R401A is high press. refr.,so expect even higher energy bill..All cars carry R134A so are refrigerators and freezers,it's already around us.
No
You can do one of two things, one take it to an A/C specialist but that would cost a lot money. Or, you can change the accumulator and the orfice tube and evacuate the total system and retro fit the fittings and charge the system with R134a. Either way you will be out of a little change.
Depends on the country. Normally they are fined and put into jail.
