In scoliosis, vertebral column is curved from side to side.
This is a phenomena whereby bone remodeling takes place due to gravitational stresses as well as asymmetrical forces upon bones. It is most commonly noted in the spine. A vertebra under asymmetrical forces due to osseous disrelationships with the vertebra above or below. Over time an adaptation takes place causing the vertebra to become wedged from left to right in the body's innate attempt to equallibrate forces acting upon the spine. This may be the source of scoiliosis in some cases. This type of scoliosis is a normal variant, not a pathological occurence.
Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine, which often is noticed in childhood to teen years. It creates an abnormal curve in the vertebral spine. In severe scoliosis, the spinal vertebra can twist or curve so drastically that it misaligns the vertebra and places pressure on the spinal cord. However, yours is mild with no misalignment of the spine, therefore, chances are that you have no spinal cord entrapment. However, you should talk to your doctor about whether you need a brace, physical therapy, or specific exercises to prevent the condition from getting worse.
An anticlinal vertebra is a vertebra within a vertebral column which has a spinous process towards which the spines of all the other vertebrae are inclined.
There are 5 different portions of the vertebra starting from top to bottom: 7 Cervical Vertebra 12 Thoracic Vertebra 5 Lumbar Vertebra 5 Sacral Vertebra 4 Coccygeal Vertebra

You should always deal with a competent surgeon for scoliosis, your first point of call would be your GP/Dr who would then refer you to see a surgeon who will take x-rays and evaluate treatment
Not really, no. They use the x-rays along with the cobb angle method to evaluate curves. When assessing a curve the apical vertebra is first identified; this is the most likely displaced and rotated vertebra with the least tilted end plate.
If you broke your spine with or without scoliosis you will need spine surgery. You will also need to take physical therapy to help strengthen your spine after the surgery.
That is called a scoliosis. You can remember the 'S' shaped spine of Scoliosis.
scoliosis can not be prevented
A kangaroo is a vertebra.
Cervical vertebra
A neck vertebra is a cervical vertebra, one of the bones of the spinal column in the neck.
The seventh cervical vertebra is called as vertebra prominens. This vertebra has the long and prominent spine. This spine can be felt at the joint of the neck and thorax.
There are 5 lumbar vertebra
