Although it is almost certain that all young men has to go to war, and some are even excited to join one. There are others who don't want to go to war as of fear in killing others or death itself. Therefore you may not have to go to war if you are a school scholar and/or take jobs in the city as of a mechanic,shoe maker, miner, and many other industrial factories. But as in WWI these jobs are most likely taken by women, there fore it is hard to get one. Being a school scholar gives you another option as working as a doctor nearby the battle, or relief centers, or in the city itself for the civilians. Also another job than being in medical fields or welding is paper work, yes it most likely taken by women, but commanders in cities are often seen having a male worker filing as they are known to be more reliable(most likely young men)

∙ 15y agoIf they refused to fight after they had joined the army, they would be shot by the General for cowardice. If they refused to sign up for the army, they would most likey be imprisoned.
