Area 51 is a nickname for a military base that is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles (133 km) north-northwest of downtown Las Vegas. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake, is a large secretive military airfield. The base's primary purpose is to support development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems.

There are said to be alien bodies found in an alien spacecraft that crashed there. But since it happened at a TOP SECRET military base, it is more than likely that an experimental aircraft crashed there.

The area commonly called Area 51 is in reality part of Nellis Air Force Base is Nevada. Nellis AFB and its surrounding area is a testing ground for new and top secret military aircraft. This area is forbidden because it is a restricted military installation.
