The Japanese army captured 60-80,000 Filipino and American prisoners of war after the three-month Battle of Bataan in the Philippines. These prisoners were forced to march over 80 miles to a POW camp under the most cruel conditions. No water or food was given, many prisoners had injuries but these were ignored.
