Why did China change after World War 2?

There were two parties in China after World War 2: the Nationalists and the Communists.

The Nationalists were led by Chiang Kai Shek, and the Communists were led by Mao Ze Dong.

The Communists defeated the Nationalists, and Chiang Kai Shek fled to Taiwan to set up a government there.

China then became Communist under the dictator Mao Ze Dong.

You have to understand the history of China. During the war and after the war they did not have a solid leader and government of China. They struggled until the Communist Party won out and took over the country. China is as big as two of the US in land size. It is hard to govern that much land. The people groups in that nation differ more than the Native Americans, Blacks, Mexican and White People groups in the US. They have more languages, cultures, lifestyles and values. Even today in modern China much of that remains true.
