The original Voltron series (Voltron: Defender of the Universe) was brought back to Cartoon Network's "Toonami" for a short period of time in the 1990's. In the last few years, a "Voltron: The Third Dimension" series was released in 3-D and sold to the "Crackle Network."
NOTE:Currently, Voltron is being re-introduced with an all new cartoon and movie. World Entertainment Productions (currently owns the rights to Voltron) confirmed that the new cartoon will be on NickToons in Spring 2011. The Voltron movie will be in theatres before 2014.
