Korea never saw Conflict during the second world war, i think you mean the Korean War during the Cold war, and the US troops pulled out after a peace treaty was signed between the north and south, along the 38th parallel, the US and NATO troops trained and armed the south Korean's before pulling out, so if war broke out, South Korea would be able to defend itself. The US only got involved because of the fear of Communism spreading to the south (North Korea was already Communist)
he expected the british to make them leave the peninsula
My answer is like this: Korea was under Japan during the World War. But when the USA threw nuclear bombs, Japan had to surrender because of its losses. So thus, Korea was left divided into North Korea and South Korea. Since North Korea is a communist, it went to USSR (Russia) and South Korea went to USA. North Korea used to keep invading South Korea to make it too come under a communist influence. So, South Korea went to ask help from the UN. So..this is the Korean Crisis.. :)
your question does not make sense?
Hakan Sukur for Turkey against South Korea in 2002.
AnswerUSA and Australia.Australia have been there for South Korea since the Korean War. Australia will help the USA defend South Korea at all costs. Kevin Rudd will make sure he sends troops when North Korea invade or fire a missle at Seoul. The USA are also a major ally of South Korea

In Korean war, Truman did not give gun power for South Korea because he thought Korea as not trustful enough to lend their power. But Stalin(Maybe he was the leader back then...) lent their heavy artilleries to North Korea. Later, there was a call to US and whole UN groups except North Korea came to make the decision and the result was to send troops to help South Korea
In World War II, the Allies appeased Hitler when he began invading surrounding countries and allowed him to gain power before war was declared on Germany, leading to a horrific and drawn out war. Truman did not want to make the same mistake and allow North Korea to cause immense damage due to his failure to act soon enough.

1950- N. Korea invades S. Korea 1950- United Nation troops pushed N. Korean troops out 1951- Chinese forces United Nation forces to retreat 1951- US and Soviet Union talk about truce for 2 years 1953- S. Korea & allies win war
The country was split by the United Nations after WWII (mainly by the Soviet Union and the United States). It was held by Japan during WWII and after the UN split the country into two. The north being held by Soviet troops and south By US troops. By 1948 nether country could agree on how to make it one country and in the end the north turned to communism and the south to a more democratic government. In 1950 the Korean war started when North Korea invaded South Korea.
