They went into hiding in different countries, but the all tried to get away from Germany.
The Nazis would send children and all Jews to concentration camps when they found them. The most famous Jewish child from WW2 is Anne Frank wrote a diary during her time in hiding and also at Auschwitz concentration camp.
At concentration camps the Germans would make people build things like traintracks, and if they weren't any use, then they would take them into gas chambers. Horridly they told the Jews they were showers.
