They sank to the core.
The word "earth" originates from the Old English word "eorthe," which is ultimately derived from the Proto-Germanic word "*ertho."
The word Earth comes in historic times directly from the medieval English word erthe which had been eorthe in Anglo saxon and meant the ground, or the soil, or dry land, as well as the material world in general as opposed to the heavens or the underworldThe oldest root is the Proto-Germanic form ertho and the still earlier but more hypothetical Proto-IndoEuropean base er, which appear to have contributed similar words to modern languages far and wide.
The Old English and Germanic word for "Earth" is believed to stem from the proto-Germanic word *erþō, meaning "ground" or "soil." This word likely evolved into the modern English term "Earth."
earth's name means fertile soil
The word "Earth" comes from Old English 'eorthe,' which is related to the German word 'Erde' and Dutch word 'Aarde.' It ultimately derives from the Proto-Indo-European base 'er,' meaning 'to move, rise, or be whole.'
The entire Earth melted, and formed layers based on the density of materials as those materials settled.
Not likely. The Sun and its planets formed from a proto-planetary disk of matter, mostly hydrogen, about 4 billion years ago. However, the disk did include material (heavy elements) that could only have come from a previous stellar system, one that was destroyed by a supernova event.
The current "best" answer is the Giant Impactor hypothesis. A proto-planet called "Theia" about the size of Mars is hypothesized to have struck the proto-Earth. This splattered a bunch of stuff out into space, where it coalesced to form the Moon.
The name of the (proto)planet that hit (proto)Earth in the Giant Impactor hypothesis is Theia.
An early collision by (proto) Earth with a large protoplanet..
Because the Earth was made from material that was orbiting the proto Sun.

a proto-type is a model basiclly like a dress that is drawn that is a proto-type
The sun formed first. The moon was not formed until around after the formation of proto-Earth.
The Apollo missions brought back 196 documented samples of lunar soils and rocks weighing a total of 382 kilograms during approximately 80 hours of exploration. Studies done on these samples show that the moon is made out of the same material as the earth's crust. If the moon was made in a different part of the universe and simply captured by the earth's gravity, this would be very unlikely. Another option is that the moon had been formed at the same time as the earth from a similar process, but in that case the moon would likely have had a larger metallic core, which it does not.It is therefore believed that the moon was created in earth's past when a proto planet collided with proto earth (an older, and smaller earth). The earth we know today is therefore a merger of these two bodies (proto planet and proto earth). The debris which did not fall back to earth after the collision, gathered together to form the moon. Computer simulations have shown that the moon could form under such circumstances.
