None. The Kiowas (Kaui-gu) are a major native American Plains tribe in their own right; they speak a language classified as Kiowan, part of the Aztec-Tanoan group. Kiowa warriors favoured dyed deer-hair roaches attached to their hair, hair-pipe bone breastplates, otter-fur-wrapped braids and silver concho ornaments.They are sometimes confused with the Kiowa-Apaches(Naishandin), a completely different and unrelated tribe speaking an Athapaskan language of the Na-Dene group. The Kiowa-Apaches formed part of the Apache tribes (hence their name) but they lived and camped among the Kiowas, while retaining their own language, religion, culture and ceremonies.
