A Roman soldier -allegedly named 'Longinus'- pierced Jesus' side with what came to be known as "The Holy Lance" , according to the Book of John, at Chapter 19, verse 34. This act prevented the other soldiers from breaking His legs.

A prison keeper or master of torture pierced Jesus with a sword. In other words it was probably a roman or Jewish soldier for the Roman army. The name is not recorded in The Bible.

In any case the piercing was done as part of the normal course of duty in terms of certifying death, as specified by the separation of the blood and the collection of fluid in the chest cavity as the result of crucifixion. Since the relevant soldier was only doing their duty and the important matter was the death of Jesus it is not surprising there is no record of the person's name.

If indeed a soldier pierced Jesus with a spear at the crucifixion, the soldier would no doubt have continued to use that spear wherever he was stationed until it was of no further use to him. We can also question whether the event actually occurred or whether the author of John was writing Christian midrash. No other gospel mentions Jesus being speared, and in fact the synoptic gospels say that none of the disciples was even at the crucifixion to provide reliable witnesses to events that occurred, although women looked from afar off (Mark 15:40).

If by spear you mean the spear that was used when He was on the cross, then it was pierced through His side to see if He was dead. When someone dies, the blood and water inside their bodies separate, and that is what happened with jesus. The soldiers pierced His side and blood and water flowed out, proving He was dead. Why is there a spear in the Bible?

Spears were used many times in the Old Testament in war, but it is only mentioned once in the New Testament. In John 19:34, it talks about how a Roman soldier pierced the side of Jesus because he was already dead, so they didn't have to break his legs. He used a spear because it had a longer reach than a sword. And, as it says in verse 36: "These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken," and, as another scripture says, "They will look on the one they have pierced."

Did jesus's blood drip on the burial place of goliath?

Golgotha or the Place of the Skull was a place of execution and not a burial spot. But I would truly think that some of Jesus' blood was spilled on the ground when He was pierced in the side with a spear and blood and water came out (John 19:33-34).
