At that point, you basically have completed the game. There may be some bosses or other creatures that you have not faced yet, however, and you can still complete and perfect the Challenge mode levels.if you haven't gotten every piklopedia animal try doing that.otherwise harvest a lot of Pikmin and get a lot of sprays

After collecting the 2nd half of the globe treasure found in the Awakening Wood, go to the Perplexing Pool. Walk forward to find a cutscene showing the Yellow Pikmin. Then continue to walk past the Yellow Wollywog, to a set of scales. Throw all but 1 pikmin up there. Throw the last pikmin, while standing on the lower scale, on to the higher one to be lifted up. Once there, kill the Fiery Bulblax, and break down the poison gate. Walk to the pikmin and whistle to them and Yellow Pikmin are all yours.
What happens if you don't get all the ship parts in Pikmin?
It is not necessary to get all 30 parts; only 25 are needed. However, if you fail to get the required parts, you will get the "bad ending" to the game. In the bad ending, Olimar tries to lift off of the planet but crashes back down, as not all mandatory ship parts were collected. These, despite what people have been saying, are not like purple pikmin at all. When confronted about it, Nintendo said they couldn't confirm nor deny the pink pikmin. They did, however, confirm that new unannounced pikmin would be seen later in the game.
