God will then usher in a paradise condition to cover the whole earth as in Adam's day.
This is why we call on people to preach the Good News of the hope that they can have if they become a Jehovah's Witness.
From a Christian Perspective.....
What happens at Armageddon depends on how you interpret the Book of Revelation. Basically, in this part of the story, Christ returns from Heaven and defeats the Antichrist in battle, after which Satan is thrown into a pit. Released from the pit after 1,000 years, Satan gathers his forces for one climatic battle and encamps against the city of God, but fire comes down from Heaven and destroys them. One of the big questions is whether we are to interpret this story literally or symbolically, or a mixture of the two.
