I remember a lot of waiting, reviewing paperwork, receiving my airline ticket and meal ticket, then being shipped to the airport. I think there was another drug screening done, as well. The night before, you'll stay in a hotel, and there'll be quite a lot which goes on there, none of which has anything to do with the actual enlistment process. From there, you fly to whichever airport.. if you have time to use your meal ticket, you can get food there. If not, you're just plain out of luck. The bus driver may or may not give you time to smoke a last cigarette before you get on the (civilian charter) bus, and, from there, you'll be transported to the Adjutant General battalion at whichever post you're attending BCT or OSUT at - typically at some time past midnight. You'll have your first encounter with a Drill Sergeant, you'll be shaken down for any contraband, you'll do more paperwork, you'll be taken to CIIP to be issued one set of PT uniform to get you out of civilian clothes and tide you over until you get your full uniform issue, you'll get something to eat at the DFAC, then you'll get a couple hours to sleep.
Thanks for the honesty, but it is a very real possibility you will be denied enlistment. If you have THC in your system when tested, you could be prosecuted.
Its a big list for active jets in usa army. You can visit the source links. Thanks
You request it when your recruiter takes you to MEPS, and you talk to a career counselor.
No, you shouldn't. The army can disqualify you for virtually any reason when you're at MEPS. Just do what your recruiter says and deny everything. No. No. No. Drugs? What are those? No. No.
To change from Army National Guard to Active Army simply speak to your Commanding Officer about transfering.
Unfortunately, this is a (potentially) medically disqualifying condition. However, the doctor at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS)will make that determination. Your local recruiter can have your medical records for this condition prescreened by the doctor at the MEPS for you to find a preliminary ruling in your particular situation.
Over 1,000,000 soldiers serve collectively in the Active Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard.
You can be called to active duty.
You would need to speak with a career counselor at the MEPS to determine that. Keep in mind that, if you decide to enlist, you'll be taking the ASVAB again at MEPS, so if you just pencil whipped it for the sake of simply getting through it and getting it over with, you'll have another shot at it.
With about 1,414,000 soldiers in active service and about 1,800,000 reserve troops, the Indian Army is the world's second largest active standing army.
MEPS centres do not have their own living facilities, so you stay at a hotel.
