This is very likely. If it happens then both sides will try hard to get 3rd parties to join them in forming a coalition government (a government of more than one party). To do this, they would have to negotiate among themselves about which policies to adopt. If neither party can get a majority with the help of 3rd parties it is likely a new election would be called, although the two parties could (theoretically) form a government together.
