I tried injecting only in the morning to save money and because I had lost enough weight to lower my dose requirements. After going through 2 pens for 60 days each, I figured out that after 30 days, what's left in the pen causes severe nausea, diarrhea, and vertigo. I made the mistake of believing that as long as I kept the pen refrigerated that it would still be good. Wrong. I would like to hear from anyone with a similar experience in order to confirm my conclusion that using Byetta beyond 30 days was the cause of my problems.
