Cats claws are like human fingernails, and just like humans, it wont hurt to trim their nails unless your cut down to far, using the proper tools and making sure that you know how to trim a cats claw correctly will keep your cat painfree and a little less sharp!

No. A cat's whiskers are used to feel the openings it crawls through, and to detect anything near its face.

Many cats lose their whiskers to accidents and do fine afterwards.

It would not be a good idea to do so. A cat's whiskers help it feel around its surroundings. That said, the whiskers themselves are modified hairs, and do get replaced.

A cat's whiskers are very important to them. Cats use their whiskers as a guidance to notify them if they can fit into a small area. Without them, cats can still live a normal life.
