∙ 14y agoThe lactose in the milk may irritate the cats bowels, upset the stomach, and lead to diarrhea. Not all cats are lactose intolerant, though many are; if your cat doesn't appear to have an intolerance a very small amount as a treat very occasionally should be fine.
Lactose free cows milk on the other hand is okay. It is a good treat for your cat, as it is high in protein and vitamins. There are also specially developed pet milks you may wish to consider. Always provide fresh water.
