It's frozen and you should buy a new one.

You can delete files on the player using your computer. Plug your RCA TH1814WM MP3 player into your computer usb port and it will appear in My Computer drives 1. Open the player in Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder containing the files. 2. Select the files you want to remove and then press the Delete key on the keyboard of your PC.
This MP3 player shouldn't need a driver. All necessary drivers are built into windows.
I installed it when I bought an RCA Opal mp3 player and plugged it into a USB port. I don't remember the details, but I thought it did standard things like check if you want to sync up RCA hardware when you plug it in. If you don't have an RCA product, maybe you should uninstall it.
If the file system on your MP3 player is corrupted, then you will probably have to get a new device. It sounds like an older model anyway, and you might want to upgrade.Ê
