Yes, any cat can lose their whiskers. They will not die. In fact, the whiskers come back! It's just like loosing eyelashes! However, when a cat looses some whiskers it's balance is cut off alittle bit until the new ones come in. No worries, really.
It could mean it has a hair loss desease called mange. There are two types, which I can't spell so you can look up the causes, and definitions elswhere. But I do know that one is HIGHLY contageos. The other is not. My advice is to take your beloved animal to the vet ASAP to have it checked out. Best case sanario, he or she is just old. Worst case, you pet will have to stay at the vet to be treated.
It will eventually be replaced. A cat's whiskers are just modified hairs. They regularly fall out and get replaced.
It's sadly getting old. :(
Really! How bad is it!
if its shedding then brush it of if its losing hair see a vet
Do you mean Licking? Cat do that to clean their fur.
If they are losing fur it is most likely do to mites.
in dat case u go to a vet not ask questions onlineTAKE IT TO THE VET NOW!
well my hamster started losing bits of his fur when he was about 2 and he is over 3 years old now. just because its losing fur, doesnt mean it will die soon
your cat could be sheding or she might have allergies
Fur covers the cat.
a cat pulls out its fur because it has something irrtating it. your cat could have allergies we had a cat at my job who had allergies and would pull out her fur because it was itchy
You probably can't find real cat fur on Ebay. Maybe if you are really lucky someone will be selling cat fur but that is pretty unlikely.
u mean y would a cat stop sheading? well maybe it just ran out of fur:)
Actually, this should be "The cat licked its fur". "It's" is a shortened version of "it is", so would not work correctly in this sentence. "Its" is usually used when something belongs to something else, like the fur belongs to the cat.
