You fail to mention if your horse is lame. When a farrier trims a horse's foot he will most likely take off a little of the horse's frog. This keeps the hoof healthy and encourages growth of new tissue. Once it is trimmed the frog should barely touch the ground when the horse puts a foot down. This keeps blood flowing thoughout the frog and maintains hoof health. If the farrier has trimmed off too much it may cause lamness and you may even see a little blood, depending on how short he was trimmed.
If this is the case and your horse is not dead lame, just a little 'ouchy' give him a week of rest on very soft footing, grass being the best, or a softly bedded stall. If you see no improvement after this amount of time you should call your vet and chat with him/her about the situation. It's possible it may be something different than the frog or may be the frog and something else in combination.
yes.lots of the draft horses do and the some appaloosas do too but not that that short
The frog should not have outgrown the hoof. If the frog appears too large for the hoof, that likely means the farrier took too much hoof off. You should call you equine vet and have them come out and see if the horse may need a farrier that specializes in this type of issue.
it cannot be seen
their skin will mot be dry as skin is to help them breathe in water
Its still your ranch. When mine ran out I renewed it about 2 hours too late and my ranch and extra horses were still there.
you may need to check its teeth because if a horses teeth are too long or too short that may cause it.
Girls Ride Horses Too was created in 1987.
There is no one correct answer. Some horses get upset if tied too short or long. Too high or low. By themselves or with other horses. Some horses get very upset in tight places like a horse trailer while others love to go places. But almost all horses will flip when hobbled. They have to be trained to accept being immobilized by hobbles.
if you mean short of money, you will have to put some items back, if you mean short in stature and cannot reach the counter, someone who is taller will help you.
i was trying to find out too i dont think you can get more horses in horses 3d
Bullfrog, green and leopard frogs, pickerel frog.
Yes, they are. Regular riding horses are ridden at atleast 3 yrs. From my experience. Riding horses too young weakens their bones.
