The doctor would never give you the pill for abortion unless you are pregnant but nothing would happen. Mifepristone at a lower dose is also available in some Asian countries for use as emergency contraception.

Nothing. It's the pill after that, Misoprostol, that will cause cramps. But the doctor will not prescribe it to you if you are not pregnant.

Then you have to go back to the doctor. When a medical abortion fails it means the first medication worked but not the second one so the embryo is dead but needs to come out.
