To replace the oxygen sensor disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector. Use an oxygen sensor socket to remove the sensor. spray the sensor with penetration oil if it is difficult to loosen. install in reverse.
You need to take a wrench to loosen the oxygen sensor, then you will need to disconnect the cord. Once you have done that you will then pull out the old oxygen sensor.
Oxygen sensor or lambda sensor is situated in the exhaust pipe in front of the catalyst. Disconnect from loom and unscrew with large spanner.
Disconnect the battery for 1 hour.
