Well obviously it will be silly of you to not eat enough grains because we know that's the top thing to eat in the food pyramid, Also grains are an important part of a healthy diet. They are an excellent source of fiber, several of the B vitamins, and minerals. Eating whole grain foods can help with cholesterol levels and help with the prevention of certain diseases.

Oddly enough, I know vegetarians who do not eat enough fruits and vegetables! Eating protein and carbs is basic nutrition but for stellar health, eat 5-7 servings a day of fruits and vegetables. Protein can be lacking in many vegetarians so eat plenty of beans, whole grains and/or grain substitutes, and nuts and seeds (also for essential oils).
