The short answer: you'll pee more.

But that's just the immediate superficial effect. The tannins in tea make your mouth feel dry, enticing you to drink more, and after drinking a lot in one sitting or consistently throughout the day it's easy to end up with a sore throat from the astringency. Tannin is also said to inhibit digestion, but the levels supposedly aren't high enough to have any noticeable effects. Another issue is the caffeine, which can be about half as strong as brewed coffee. Drinking a lot of tea on a regular basis will essentially create an addiction, meaning that on days where you don't get as much as you usually do you'll end up with headaches from caffeine withdrawal. The longterm downside is the increased possibility of kidney stones thanks to the high oxalate content. It's not a guarantee, but a painful enough risk to consider.

None of these are too serious on their own (aside from the stones) and subsisting on tea alone probably won't kill you based on anything I've read, but it's generally a good idea to cut back and just go with water some of the time - or at least try brewing it weaker.
