you are required to notify your insurer. A new driver is considered a change in the risk factors associated with your policy, and you are required to report such changes within 30 days. If you fail to add a new driver to your policy, especially if the driver is a minor child, your insurer may deny any coverage in the event of a Wisconsin motor vehicle accident even if it's not your fault.
If you are caught driving in violation of the restrictions of your learners permit, you can have your privilege to drive suspended.
then your both screwed
No they won't. A learners permit is not a valid license. They shouldn't be driving without a licensed driver. The owner of the car can be held liable. They can be sued for allowing an unlicensed driver, drive their vehicle.
Loss of permit, fine and, depending on what else you might have done, gaol.
how can i drive with provisional driving licence 49 cc scooter
dont do it
no
Of course, it depends on whether or not you had an eligable adult in the front passenger seat next to you. I had a car accident the day after I got my permit (was driving with an adult). I did not get in trouble with the police; they were very kind and professional about the whole situation. Luckily, our insurance convered the damages done to our cars. No tickets, fees, or court orders. -This was in the state of Georgia-
Hopefully you were not driving alone ... you could lose your permit for that. Otherwise, it works the same as if you had a normal license ... the police will take down all the information - whomever was in the front passenger seat (hopefully a licensed driver over the age of 21) will also have to accept responsibility, as you were driving under their guidance and direction.
It all depends on the state in which the accident happened as well as the type of accident.
The VA learner's permit allows you to learn driving when you are still underage.
If a person with only a learners permit gets a reckless driving ticket, they will have to pay the ticket. Depending on the state they may be required to attend classes, and their insurance rates will go up.
