What happens is you change all of apples things Like the app store..you get installer which you use to download app for free Cool backgrounds ..no more boring black background Loads of stuff like 3d app views 5 by 5 rows of apps But if it bricks (breaks) apple will not be responsible and u Will lose the warranty

It depends what you are doing with the Jailbreaking.

If you just used it to customize your iPod, then you can say, "I am jailbreaking my iPod so I can extend its full capabilities in customization and personalization. I bought the iPod, so I can personalize it to my heart's desire."

If you are using Cydia, Installous, or other 'download-all-apps-for-free' programs, there's not much you can say, because it is illegal to download payment-required apps for free.

when you jailbreak your iPhone you unlock an app called cydia which allows your iPhone to get free apps, different keyboards and change the look of all your apps. There is a lot more you can do but there is a price which is it CAN break or SHUT DOWN. I have never experienced this myself but I have had friends who have. I would recommend jail breaking your iPhone because it's really cool. Only do it if you want..... Look it up on YouTube and it'll show you what it looks like. Hope this helped.
