U can't sleep at night it feels like rock sand In ur eyes worst night of ur life call Anauri and ask him omfg........ Actually this is the best case scenario. Worst case would be permanent blindness. Basically the bright light burns the eye much like a sunburn. A mild case causes what's called a "flash". This is a slight burn to the surface of the eye. Severe cases can cause temporary or even permanent blindness. This can also happen if you do not use a dark enough lens.

seam welding is a process that produces a weld at the faying surfaces of two similar metals where its used depends on which metal you look to weld

What are facts about welding?

# If you look into the flame you'll go blind, # if you touch the flame it will burn you, # your face is always hotter than your buttocks, # a cigarette always tastes better when lit by a torch flame, # always weld with a full gas tank, # you can get a tan/sunburn from welding, and # welding is fun when you weld random items together.

What is the Different between TIG arc welding and gas welding?

Gas welding basically used for weaker joints(in sheets) and arc welding for stronger one(plates). mobile welding (not in a shop)is the ideal time for arc welding . gas welding is the way to go as far as production is concerned , but requires environment with little air circulation or wind , plus gas bottle , machine , and a short lead , which makes it ideal for shop work answer Gas welding - generally use for welding of thin plates/pipes. Less heat input and less likely to burn off the edge of the plates (undercut). It is a more expensive process because of gas shielding. Arc welding - use for thicker plates usually with larger size electrodes. Higher weld production rate. Shielding by means of electrode coating. Both processes can meet the required mechanical properties usually

Should braze welding be done in flat position?

Flat position welding is when your job is in a horizontal position the easiest and best position to do welding, then you get vertical up position where the trick is to weave your arc in a V formation, vertical down is used on thin material if its possible at an angle of 45 degrees last overhead that is the most difficult the opposite of flat welding where the job is upside down anytime you look directly down on your weld joint, it is a flat weld, flat position weld are not affected by gravity, as opposed to horizontal, vertical, and overhead, all of which the puddle tends to "sag" as you weld

What Precautions required in arc welding?

Safety is important when welding. Make sure you have protective clothing (jacket, no frayed pants, helmet with proper shade, steel toe boots if material falls, etc.) Make sure people around you know your welding! Eye surgery sucks! NO Flammable liquids! (lacquer thinner is great for cleaning dirty metal before welding, but causes really big flames if you don't wipe off with a simple green type cleaner) Know where to kill the power if you have a problem, and where the extinguishers are VENTILATION! Clean air, good, welding fumes not so good.

What is the function of welding mask?

A welding mask is used to protect the face and head from sparks, flying metals and heat. It protects the eyes from dangerous ultraviolet light and infrared light. Without the mask, the cornea of the eye can be severely damaged.

Why cant we look at the sun during a solar ealips?

You can look at the sun during the period of totalitywhen a TOTAL eclipse is happening. However if even a tiny bit of the sun's bright disk is still visible, the light from it is so strong that it will burn and kill the cells in your retina. Your eyes and vision will be permanently damaged when this happens and, if it is very bad, you could be blinded (you will feel nothing while this happens). To look at the sun during the partial phases of an eclipse you can ONLY do so by looking though No 14 welding glass, though special 'solar eclipse' glasses or at the refection of the sky and sun in a bucket of water.

What welder to use on autobody?

It depends on what you are welding. If you are doing welding on mild steel go with MIG welding; if it is aluminum or stainless steel then use TIG welding. TIG welding gives a nice looking finish. If you just want to get a decent look, then MIG is preferable and easy.

What is one supposed to do during a solar eclipse?

Look at it carefully - use some very dark filter, such as welding lenses. Do NOT try to look at the sun directly because even during an eclipse there is enough light to damage unprotected eyes.

What happens when hits a black surface?

im assuming that u meant "what happens when LIGHT hits a black surface?" the reason for this is that the black surface ABSORBS the light, and so none of the light waves can be reflected back (which is what makes it look black)
