If you start and warm up your engine:
1) The oil gets very foamy and mucky, and does not circulate through the engine properly.
2) The water in the antifreeze can heat up until it turns to steam, which expands with great force, and breaks some part of the engine.
It's best to have the oil changed. That will empty the engine of the oil and antifreeze mix.
i believe you can put the antifreeze anywhere in a jeep
If you find traces of oil in the antifreeze it's an indication of broken engine gasket. You need to go consult with a professional.
To put in more antifreeze in a 1995 Plymouth Voyager, located the reservoir near the radiator. Antifreeze is no longer added directly to the radiator. It is put into the plastic reservoir that is labeled radiator or coolant overflow.
bad head gasket , warped head , etc.
That's usually a good place for it, as well as the overflow reservoir. It wouldn't do you much good to put it in the windshield washer reservoir, the oil pan, or the fuel tank, after all.
Low on antifreeze/antifreeze leak...loosenut... www.ceriousproductions.com
yes, if you have coolant in the oil the oil doesn't give the rod bearings the lubrication that they need, they then overheat, and fail.
go to the store on main street and go inside. the manager will complain about the teenagers outside . play bingo with Greg's grandma and win a CD. go back to the store and put the CD in. the manager will give you free antifreeze liquid.
Anyway you want to. ;)
