I asked this question can someone answer it correctly and be more site full on it and not its going to tare up your engine please and thank you
Try checking the trans fluid. The level of the fluid drops when the engine becomes hot. Check the fluid with the engine idling with the trans in park.
Yes, this really can happen. The transmission modulator ruptures and vacuum system system draws out trans fluid into engine oil thru vacuum pump into engine crankcase. Been there, done that. I replaced the modulator valve and dropped engine oil.
Be very careful NOT to put trans fluid in an engine ! - It goes down the tube that holds trans dipstick, into the transmission.
trans fluid
Depends on what engine you have v10 gas or 7.3 diesel? Auto trans or manual? If its the 7.3 diesel with auto trans its 250hp If its the 7.3 diesel with manual trans its 275hp if its the 6.8 v10 i believe its about 305hp
ATF+4 auto trans fluid.
What engine? It does make a difference!
If it is the Toyosha diesel model, use a trans/hydraulic fluid.
where you check your trans fluid you have to use a funnel tho you don't want trans fluid all over Ur engine compartment
From ManualAutomatic Trans -- 8.1 litersManual Trans -- 2.1 liters
Believe it is the 6.5L with a 400 turbo transmission
most use the engine oil for engine and trans
