''Yes because apples have less calcium and salt water has more protein and lemon juice has more sugar than all two. So the answer is yes''
Lemon juice is highly acidic so it will prevent the apple slices from browning for a few hours. Great for presentations or the picky eater you know.
The apple will rot 2times faster than the normal air
The acidic juice will inhibit oxidation of the apple surface and prevent it from turning brown - at least for a while.
Turns brown ...
I would agree with the first response, however, soak your potato slices in some apple cider vinegar. This will allow the potatoes to soak up the vinegar flavor. And, I'm not sure I would add salt. Fry them or bake them first and taste them. If they aren't too salty, add some! :) * 1 year ago
i think you cut the apple into slices and soak them in lemon juice. it'll prevent them from browning.
You don't need to soak an apple before eating. You just need to wash the apple with water beforehand. To keep apple slices from turning brown, you can soak them for 3-4 minutes in water or lemon juice.
After you cut them soak them in 7up or sprite for only a couple seconds
Nothing (for a time) as apples are waterproof.
Not much, but if you soak it in vinegar the shell will dissolve!
the acetic acid in the vinegar would slowly dissolve the iron and produce hydrogen gas
No, the difference is that apple cider (hard) is alcoholic whereas cider vinegar is acidic. No, EWWW
Osmosis

It is not dirty to make soup with a cup that had apple cider vinegar out of an unopened bottle in it. However, it is dirty to use a cup that you soaked your toothbrush in to make soup.
