What happens if you take Concerta and don't need it?

It keeps u awake and alert. I was diagnosed with ADD and prescribed concerts. For years prior, i jkew i had a problem, but did not want to be seen for it because in my job it is frowned upon. To make up for it, I used workout supplements to keep me alert and plus becase i woked out. Been doing it for years. I recently had a change of position, and after that I was seen for my attention problem. The doc prescribed concerta for me, and its been working pretty well. I could only guess from personal experience that if u take concerta and don't need it, you willl just be awake for a very long time. Not like a caffeine awake, but like i just took a nap awake, and then when you do sleep, it probabale wont be for long and thenu will be awake again. That's what happened to me the first time i took concerta. To be more specific, i am 280lbs, active, and taking 36 mg concerta.

It will make you sick. Because it only works for people who already have a brain imbalance (and who need to restore their brain chemicals to a normal level). If you have a normal level of brain chemicals, it will cause an imbalance in your hormone levels and it will make you very emotional and moody (some people get suicidal thoughts).

What would you be taking the Strattera for? If your doctor thinks your symptoms can be helped by strattera, then hopefully that is what will happen! One doesn't necessarily have to have ADHD to have the benefits of this medication, at least that is what the dr's have told me. As for the side effects, that's another story, I heard, among other things, it can cause high blood pressure. You should consult your physician for these answers.
