The keypad will cease to work. Buttons in the garage will still work.
When you take the battery out nothing really happens. I tried it myself and it did nothing.

You Could Be Looking At A Nightmare. Then You Will Have To Pull A Vacuum, Check To See If You Need To Add A Little Oil. On & On, Garrage Best Bet.
