What happens if you touch the forbidden treasure in the Cave of wonders in Kingdom Hearts?

As you know in the film Aladdin, The treasure was not allowed to be touched except for the lamp. However in Kingdom Hearts, The gems in particular allow you to get to another location or to get a treasure chest. As for the rest of the forbidden treasure, nothing happens.

You CAN defeat the "Cave of Wonders" in Kingdom Hearts I by, hitting its eye. If you lock onto the "Cave of Wonders" you will lock on its eye. If you keep hitting the eye, his eye that you hit will turn yellow. When it is yellow, you hit the other eye until it turns yellow, also. When you have, you destroy the darkness and save the "Cave of Wonders" from it(I meant "it" by from the darkness). This is all I can tell you because you will be surprised when you complete and over run the darkness from the "Cave of Wonders". Good luck.=)

You have to hit the stone pillar there, and find the Treasure Room. Fight all the Heartless in there and save at the save point that appears. After that, fight Jafar twice and you're finished.
