Depending on the wrong oil used it could shorten the life expectancy of the engine. We need more details.
If the wrong oil is used in a lawnmower, do not start it. Simply drain the oil as completely as possible and fill with the proper oil.
None. If your car is using oil then that means that there is something wrong with it.
If the car does not smoke badly this may mean you are using the wrong weight motor oil. Use the proper weight oil that a dealer will recommend.
If you use the wrong weight motor oil in an engine, it is possible that you could destroy the engine due to lack of lubrication, either because the oil's viscosity is to low to provide adequate bearing separation, or because the oil's viscosity is to high to permit adequate lubrication. Use the manufacturer's recommended oil.
No problem at all.Tip: Always use Fully Synthetic engine oil in your car/motorcycle.
Viscosity is different. Please use what is required in the owners manual. It can be expensive to repair when subbing wrong products. ~
what is a good engine oil to use in my car
Automotive oil is identical to lawn mower oil. They are both internal combustion engines. I would however recommend you use 100% Synthetic oil in that air cooled lawnmower engine.
You can use plain water to get sludge out of your car radiator. You can use Marvel Mystery oil to remove sludge from the oil pan.
It is important to use the correct oil to keep a car running properly. The best oil to use for this particular car is 5W-30.
to keep the car going
one quart 10w40 four stroke motorcycle oil. do not use car or truck oil. 10w40 4 stroke oil is car & truck oil which are also 4 stroke engines. You can use the very same oil you use in your car and truck as long as you use the correct weight which is 10w30 and not 10w40. There is no difference in so-called motorcycle oil and car or truck oil. I do however highly recommend you use full synthetic oil in any air cooled engine.
