Itouch turns off and on but when on black screen with white apple what do you do to fix it?

Try holding the power and home button for 10-30 seconds. That should do it. If not well try DFU mode. If you do that or try to charge it sometimes that works. if none of the above work then call the apple company and see if they replace.

∙ 11y agohold down the home button while holding down the volume up button while holding down the lock button all at the same time for like 20 seconds. then you should see the apple sign and it will come back up again

∙ 14y agoThe same thing happened to my daughter's. I took it to Radio Shack and they fixed it for free of charge. It had something to do with resetting it.

you need to charge your ipod it happens all the time when your ipod is out of battery just plug it into your computer or your ihome that has a charging dock

This is most likely to be caused by the screen backlight not working - you need to get the backlight or inverter replaced.
